Remember if you want more arm speed you have to increase the amount qrm energy that comes from the body and gets directed forward arm the target.
If the arm is creating more of the speed it will end up as a sore arm.

His arm slot is essentially the same but his body alignment is not. His velocity is somewhat increased with the more over the top because he is able to slam the door harder but there is much less movement on his ball. He pitcying has this problem when he throws a change just the fastball.
Should this be something to work on or is it just another version of a fastball. Dick I would say his arm slot that he has used since he started pitching would incorporate a body lean and over the top delivery.
I would have to check some game video because that will be all we have since before pitchign program. If that is the case you dont see a problem with this? Thanks Dick. The difference is their amount of trunk lean. Obviously Lincecum is going to have far more lean to his trunk to position his arm at a higher slot. That being said Lincecum should be slpt of the amount of trunk lean and not let it create problems.
